Have you ever noticed how rarely people speak about the Word of God anymore? It seems like faith has become something whispered instead of proclaimed. We live in a time where darkness feels louder than ever — where hate is shouted, and truth is mocked.
So much evil surrounds us, yet even in this, there are still those who believe in Jesus Christ, who stand firm in faith despite the noise. It’s a different world now — one where people condone death, destruction, and division, often in the name of self-righteousness or anger. But hateful rhetoric will never bring anyone closer to our Lord and Savior.
I often find myself wondering what has happened to people’s hearts. Where has compassion gone? What has hardened us so much that we forget the value of life, of kindness, of grace? For me, I choose to continue serving the Lord and holding tight to His Word and His laws. I know that peace and purpose come only through Him.
I pray for those who are lost in their pain and anger. I pray they find the source of true healing — the love of God. Because we’ve all faced hard times. We’ve all lost people we love. It’s part of life’s cycle, but even through loss and pain, we are given a gift: the gift of life itself.
Let us not take that gift for granted. Instead, let us live it with gratitude, faith, and love, reflecting the light of Christ in a dark and hurting world.
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
— John 1:5 (NIV)
